TRUST NO 1 -Nice to meet you, Trust No One. Please use three words to introduce yourself. -Trustno1: Nice to meet you too, Mr Snowcat. Undecided, unsociable, cyclothymic. -What brought you to become an active musician? -Trustno1: I’ve never liked any sport so my parents decided I had to play music. -How can you relate music to money, or to business in general? -Trustno1: Money can’t buy music. -You released 21 albums so far, in a rather short time. What advice would you give to Yes or Deep Purple to find inspiration again? -Trustno1: Let them rest in peace. -Among your work, what is the piece that you think represents you the most, and why? -Trustno1: “Extractions” represents me the most, since it’s a compilation, with my different moods and styles of music. If the compilation thing is not an option, I would say “Thanatos”. -Any song you’re ashamed of, and why? -Trustno1: More than one, because they’re really too similar to other existing stuff. -If you had a magic wand, in what band would you play right now? -Trustno1: Porcupine Tree, if you mean a band that still exists. If the magic wand has the time-machine option, I would say Genesis. -What would you say to Awa-news readers who might not know you, to convince them to listen to your albums? -Trustno1: Satisfied or refund. -Last but not least, would you openly admit that you are an Awaken fan? -Trustno1: To be magnetised or not to be, that’s the question.
